Laguarda.Low Architects (“LLA”) is an award-winning architecture firm that identified a pressing need for a major overhaul of their website to effectively inform visitors of their extensive portfolio, expertise, and design team. The firm needed help breaking into new sectors and sought advice as to how to curate their portfolio to appeal to a New York City market.

Leandra Tidwell, working with creative director Rocco Piscatello and the team at Piscatello Design Centre, designed an intuitive and beautiful new website for LLA. The PDC team led a series of strategy sessions to help clarify their business goals and identify LLA’s target markets. Over the course of several months, the team worked with the firm to develop a website strategy and helped them develop content for the website. The team also art directed the selection of images and guided LLA in their curation of images throughout the site.

The website includes a comprehensive projects section that organizes LLA’s extensive portfolio into categories that can be dynamically filtered. This section also incorporates an archive of all projects the firm has designed. The expertise section showcases LLA’s proficiency in the areas of Master Planning, Mixed Use, Retail Design, and Sustainability. The firm section includes an overview of the firm, leadership team, videos, and awards the firm has won over the years. The project also included upgrading the photography of their leadership and of their office to best represent their firm today.

The website also enables LLA to showcase videos that were previously developed in-house for their firm. The team developed a content management system enabling LLA to easily manage the website’s content to keep it current and relevant. The entire site was developed in both English and Chinese for their international clientele.
